Air America's latest follies

We haven't had fun at Air America's expense for a while, and I wasn't sure they were still on the air until today. Let's do it.
First, one their founding execs, Thomas L. Athans, was busted for paying a 20-year-old prostitute $150 for sex. He is married to Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow, a loud Democrat.
Nathan Gonzales, the political editor of the Rothenberg Political Report in Washington, D.C., said he does not see the incident impacting Stabenow's political career or the Democratic Party.
"Because of the Eliot Spitzer incident it might get more media attention, but I don't think it will have political fallout for the senator or Democrats in general," he said. "I think it's a personal issue."
No, probably not. It didn't hurt Hillary's political career.
Athans got as far away from Air America as he could after they declared bankruptcy.
In other Air America news, one of their radio hosts, Randi Rhodes, has been suspended from her on-air job for referring to Hillary Rodham Clinton and Geraldine Ferraro as a [blank]ing [blank]s in a San Francisco rant she gave recently on the really classy network's behalf.
Here's the vid:
Incredible.
The best part of this is that Rhodes is probably the only personality they have that is commercially viable.

Very true its probably why she was thrown under the bus more than anything else. To much resentment and jealousy.

IIRC, this is yet another project funded by George Soros, and it's always good to see those projects paying off.

Air America sucks and is irrelevant. Don't feed the pig. Ignore this story. Ignore Air America and let them wither on the vine and die. This is a lame attempt for some headlines.
and I heard a great Bob Dole line today...
If you wrestle with a pig you both get filthy, but the pig likes it. That is a great line!
This is a lame attempt for some headlines?

here and several other places. It seems to have gotten little play, except among the Conservative/GOP crowd.
I keep forgetting it's OK for a Democrat to be a low life, scumbag, cheating husband, I'm just sayin'
we ought to act better than the Democrats, and when we get someone who breaks their word, steals some money, or has a wide stance, I feel no sympathy when they get raked over the coals.
We HAVE to be better than the left, after all, you know what they are like.

"...and I wasn't sure they were still on the air until today."
That's funny stuff. Doesn't Rhodes have the biggest audience there? It seems I was looking at a list of biggest radio audiences and she was one of two lefties on the 20 person list. Hey, Air America, the object is to make money! Anyways, hopefully this makes them go bankrupt...again.

In a statement, Charlie Kireker, the chair of Air America, said the radio network “encourages strong opinions about public affairs but does not condone such abusive, ad hominem language by our hosts.”
I call it foul mouthed gutter sniping, I'm just sayin'
for her simulated shooting of George Bush a few years back, while using profanity. Nor should it be overlooked that during her recent "comedy" act she also called Reagan and Cheney some choice names.
So neither of those two incidents, as well as other vileness we may not be aware of, don't warrant suspension. But insulting Hillary Clinton does !
From this we must yet again conclude that liberals are bereft of so much as a hint of normal human decency, that the only standard and prism they see through is their power lust politics.
Give Rhodes credit for at least mouthing the bile that bubbles at the surface of these unfortunate wretches.
