I's on the Guy Benson show, WIND 560AM, Chicago

I just did the Guy Benson show on AM 560, WIND in Chicago. It was about a five minute interview in which I was asked about the Sunday Shows. Basic stuff. I read the Wes Clark quote – "I do not think riding in a fighter plane and getting shot down is a qualification for being President" – and we talked a little about Rendell. He noted that Jay Rockefeller was pilloried for saying less.

I was going to mention Pawlenty cleaning Emanuel's clock, which I should have done, but… oh, the interview was five minutes long.

I did not even get a chance to mention Pejman.

If you heard me and I sounded awkward, this was my first such activity since before I was diagnosed with B.O.T. cancer last August, and in the interim, I've lost and regained my voice.

What counts is that he mentioned RedState.com and also my little spot at rightsided.org.

After all this, I'm back at the stage of: I hope I didn't s*ck too badly. But I'm also back in the saddle, and I'm quoting Aerosmith and not Roy Rogers. (If you try to tell me that I'm too old for Aerosmith, I'll remind you that I bought Toys in the Attic (vinyl) on the day it was released with my paper route money. So. There.)

"Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it."
-Thomas Paine: The American Crisis, No. 4, 1777

I'm listening to very old jazz.
