For those of you who don't know, I live as a Redstate exile in a deep blue Maryland.
I'm trying to generate a conservative and Republican blog covering state and local issues in Maryland. Here's the URL.
Stop by and comment. If you think you might want to be a contributor there let me know here or by email.
If I had had the opportunity to vote last November, Maryland would have been my preferred state: good candidates for both Governor and Senator.

Maryland has always interested me. The story of its founding as a Catholic colony in the New World, courtesy of Lord Baltimore, is fascinating. And of course, there are the Carrolls.
Working class Baltimore, posh Bethesda/other northwest Maryland DC suburbs, and Maryland's fatal attraction towards Democratic politics should make for interesting reading.
The state has some great natural beauties, which were a welcome respite when I went to college in DC. And its restaurants offer the best crabs in the world!
Good luck with it!
