Egland was winning because he was Doolittle's only challenger.
Once he successfully drove out Doolittle (in part with our fundraising help), that brought in progressively stronger challengers, ending with McClintock (whom we should not feel bad at ALL about having running in district 4).
I have called and emailed my congressman, and called the house in general, and no one seems to know anything about this incident, except for Delahunt's office who says he has already made a statement concerning this matter and it is up to the public to make up their own mind...Does anyone know of any other avenues to pursue on this one...we can't just let this slide...
I gave Egland money and was sure disappointed when he dropped out of the race for Doolittle's seat. I hope he finds a district in California where he can run and win.
